Marc D. Pecha, MD

Marc D. Pecha, MD is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is also board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine.  A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Dr. Pecha did his residency in rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX.  Specializing in electrodiagnostic medicine, Dr. Pecha has achieved accreditation of The Rehabilitation Group Electrodiagnostic Lab with Exemplary Status in 2012, the first in San Antonio to achieve this distinction. 

Dr. Pecha’s areas of expertise include the electrodiagnostic evaluation of peripheral nerve injuries, including focal entrapments such as carpal tunnel syndrome, other focal neuropathies, radiculopathies, peripheral neuropathies, brachial plexus disorders, and more.

Achieving board certification by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine ensures the highest quality of care in the evaluation and diagnosis of nerve injuries.  Since the electrodiagnostic laboratory has received the highest degree of certification, patients and referring providers can expect excellence and professional expertise.

Jahnavi Manocha, MD

Jahnavi R. Manocha, MD is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She completed medical school at Chicago Medical School and her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.  Dr. Manocha works in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, and is the Associate Medical Director at Encompass Health rehabilitation hospital in the medical center.  Working with a wide range of diagnoses related to physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Manocha has a special interest in amputee rehabilitation and provides a continuum of care through her inpatient amputee rehabilitation program to the outpatient rehabilitation clinic at The Rehabilitation Group.

Jahnavi Manocha, MD

Chaula Rana, MD

Chaula Rana, MD is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine as well as her residency at Baylor.  She works in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, and sees patients with a wide range of physical medicine and rehabilitation needs.  Dr. Rana works with injured workers and treats spasticity, brain injuries, stroke, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Rebecca Tapia, MD

Rebecca Tapia, MD is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She completed medical school and residency at UT Health San Antonio and has subspecialty board certification in Brain Injury Medicine.  With over ten years of clinical experience and teaching, she works in the inpatient consult setting providing care and expertise to patients with a wide range of rehabilitation needs including stroke, brain injury and other functional impairments.

Rebecca Tapia

Arlene Brazell, MSN, AGACNP-BC

Ms Brazell comes to The Rehabilitation Group with years of experience and works in both the inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation areas.  She works closely with the physiatrists in the group and provides nursing expertise which helps facilitate excellence in the care of our patients.

Jose A. Santos, MD

Jose A. Santos, MD retired from medical practice in 2023.  Dr. Santos founded The Rehabilitation Group in 1991 and leaves a legacy of professionalism which continues to inspire the current clinicians of the practice.
